  • Attend graduation ceremonies

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our administration team as a Financial Aid Officer for our London Campus. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping mature students achieve their goals, detail-oriented, and have strong customer service skills. Please note that this is a fully in-campus role.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to student inquiries regarding financial status
  • Provide comprehensive, timely services to all students and exceptional customer service at all times
  • Set up tuition payment arrangements and contact students to collect outstanding balances to keep their accounts current
  • Conduct preliminary financing interviews with new students
  • Participate in all Ministry-sponsored financial assistance program training. Learn and maintain current knowledge of Federal and Provincial regulations pertaining to financial aid
  • Provide accurate information and advise students on financial aid eligibility and various financial aid programs (training provided)

We are seeking a Medical Esthetician Instructor who is passionate about the beauty industry and skincare to mentor aspiring Medical Estheticians. The successful candidate must be comfortable with in-campus classes, working with students and providing practical training at Anderson College – Downtown Campus.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  • Observe students to determine qualifications, limitations, abilities, interests, and other individual characteristics
  • Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects and communicate those objectives effectively to students
  • Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs, abilities, and interests
  • Prepare students for further education by encouraging them to explore learning opportunities and to persevere with challenging tasks
  • Prepare materials and classrooms for class activities in advance
  • Instruct students in groups, using various teaching methods, such as lectures, discussions, and demonstrations
  • Provide clear, precise, and consistent direction and support to students

Qualifications and Experience

  • Must be a Licensed Pharmacist
  • Minimum of 2 years working experience in the field of study

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a competent and dedicated Instructor for our Medical Laboratory Technician/Assistant program at our Kitchener location. Please note that this is an in-campus role.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Mentor, coach and support students through a commitment of educational excellence and passion in MLA disciplines
  • Responsible for creating an effective and positive adult learning environment
  • Develop, supervise and evaluate practical skills
  • Maintain laboratory protocols and equipment
  • Teach the curriculum as outlined by the college and in adherence with the CSMLS competencies.

  • Previous post-secondary teaching experience and the use of educational learning management systems (D2L) is considered an asset.
  • Experience in the development and delivery of hybrid (online and in-class) curriculum is considered an asset.

We are seeking a competent and dedicated Instructor for our Intra Oral Dental Assistant Level I & II program at Anderson College’s Kitchener Campus. The ideal candidate will have previous experience teaching adults and be passionate about helping mature students achieve their goals.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Working closely with the Program Coordinator, the college instructor teaches in discipline areas in which they have specific training and competence. As such, the instructor is expected to plan, organize, and teach in a manner that aligns with the values of Anderson College. The instructor will be leading the classes on- campus at the Kitchener location.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Academic

  • Ensure students are being taught following the approved curriculum (training will be provided)
  • Foster an environment of cooperation and coordination among instructional staff
  • Participate in the student appeal process when required

Administrative

  • Assist with tracking student hours following college procedures
  • Attend graduation ceremonies

  • Knowing Private Career Colleges Act will be an asset
