Linda C.
Lead Instructor
ECG/Phlebotomy Technician Instructor
 
Linda Cook has spent over 35 years in the medical laboratory field. Before joining Anderson College, she worked in various laboratories in the Greater Toronto Area. Among others, Linda became the Manager of the Gamma-Dynacare Pre-Admissions and STAT Laboratory at the Scarborough General Hospital.
 
 

 

 

Rafik R. 
Medical Laboratory Technician Instructor and Program Chair
 
Dr. Rafik is a licensed MLT, clinical scientist and biochemist and has been practicing in the field for more than 20 years.He has  received a number of national and international awards. 
 
He is an active member of the CMLTO, CSMLS, OSMT and CSCC in Canada and AACC in USA. In the academic field, he managed all academic functions at higher/post-secondary education, monitored and assessed student performance and involved in the implementation of curriculum and program site assessments. 

 

 


 

 

Bardhyl V.
Medical Laboratory Technician Instructor 
 
Bardhyl has been working as a Medical Laboratory Instructor since 2009. An OSMT certified and CSMLS member in good standing, Bardhyl is also a certified CPR and First- Aid instructor at St.John Ambulance.

 

 


 

 

Gina T.
Medical Office Assistant Instructor
 
Gina is a graduate of the Medical Office Administrator program at the Toronto School of Business. Her experience spans nearly 22 years which includes working as a Medical Office Administrator, Senior  Medical Secretary and Medical Transcriptionist. Gina was the Lead Medical Office instructor before joining Anderson College.

 

 


 

 

Monica D.
Esthetics Instructor
 
Monica brings 14 years of salon experience to the Anderson faculty. After graduating from the Zehava School of Esthetics, Monica started her career as an Esthetician with Skinworks Spa and eventually became its owner before teaching. She pursued teaching to pass along her skills and business experience to future estheticians/spa owners.

PSW Instructor
 
Michele's career spans over 35 years within the medical field. Her areas of expertise include Orthopedic Surgery and Trauma, Long Term Care, Patient Communication and Drafting Training Protocols. She has been in academia since 2006 and loves sharing her knowledge with students.

 

 


 

 

Daniel N.
Physiotherapy Assistant Instructor
 
Daniel has over 10 years of clinical experience, completing his Master’s degree in Physical Therapy at D’Youville College in Buffalo, NY, and his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at York University.
 
Daniel’s experience includes outpatient orthopedic practice in Canada and the United States, where he has completed many continuing education courses in the areas of manual therapy, functional exercise, sports medicine, acupuncture and dry needling.
 

 

 


 

 

Carrie B.
PSW Program Instructor
 
A registered nurse with 30 years experience in Emergency medicine, Neurology, Addictions, Infection Control, Occupational Health and Safety, Homecare and Telehealth. Carrie is also Manager of the Addiction Clinical Consultation Service , Education Coordinator and Faculty at the Addiction Studies Institute with CAMH,  for 15 years. A committed advocate for dignity within healthcare and a love for teaching, Carrie joined Anderson College with over 4 years of experience teaching the PSW Bridging program.

Business Administration Instructor
 
Edward spent close to 15 years in the Hotel and Restaurant industry as a working chef. Taking on more education at DeVry and Ryerson gave him the opportunity to work for the corporate office of Bell Canada. Edward gained a Microsoft Masters Certificate in Office. He believes that it is a privilege to have an opportunity to help students achieve their best and to guide them down a path to make them realize how much better their lives are with hard work and confidence.

Cardiology Technology Program Chair
 
Heather has over 25 years of experience in different aspects of Diagnostic Cardiology Services particularly in managing, testing, training and development. She has extensive experience managing, developing and training clinical staff, allied professionals, and students. Heather has always been regarded as an expert clinician, with exceptional communication, interpersonal and organizational capabilities.

 

 


 

 

Grace B.
PTA/ OTA Instructor
 
Grace has been in the physiotherapy field since 1996 and has been a practicing physiotherapist in the Philippines. In 2009, she obtained her license to practice in Ontario. Grace has worked in different physiotherapy clinics, community nursing homes and centres. Grace has extensive knowledge in administering therapeutic exercises, neurodevelopmental techniques, traction and manual therapy. She is a current member of good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.

 

 


 

 

Sharee M.
PTA/ OTA Instructor
 
Sharee is presently an Elected Councilor of the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario where she serves on several committees including the Inquiries, Complaints, and Reports Committee, and Chair of the Public Relations Committee. She has been working as a clinician for more than 20 years and have worked extensively in a variety of clinical and administrative settings including hospitals, long-term senior care, private, OHIP clinics, and in the community.

Logistics & Supply Chain Ops.Instructor
 
Yoav has been in the logistics industry for over 10 years and graduated with a degree in Commerce from Ryerson University and Advanced International Business Administration Diploma from Seneca College. He has been involved in a wide range of logistics and supply chain roles from business development, documentation, traffic, operations, and warehousing, to name a few.

Business Administration Instructor
 
In his capacity as an educator, Dean has spent the last 10 years designing developing and delivering courses in the School of Business, Hospitality & Tourism at Seneca College and Humber College. Some of the course include, leadership, business communications, sustainable and ethical business, principles. Dean actively consults to many small and medium-sized operations on business planning and strategic growth, sales and marketing and human resource strategies.

 

 


 

 

 

Ivana L.
Esthetics Instructor
 
Ivana is a certified esthetician and has been in the Esthetics industry for over 6 years. She obtained her diploma in Esthetics in 2010 from Niagara College and went on to work in many high end spas. Ivana always knew she had an entrepreneurial side, which is why she decided to branch off and open her own mobile spa business which she is still currently managing. She enjoys helping her students become successful in their Esthetic career and ensuring that they will be skilled and knowledgeable when facing challenges in a professional environment.

 

Ivana takes pleasure in volunteering her spare time and her Esthetics skills and expertise at charity fundraisers and events.

 

 


 

 

Maggie L.
Esthetics Instructor
 
Maggie has over 15 years of experience in the esthetics Industry. She believes that in order to be successful in this profession, you must have courage to try different things as this will allow you to think differently in the ever-evolving beauty world.

 

Maggie graduated as an Esthetician in England and began her career in Europe working in various spas and salons. Maggie pursued an opportunity to travel while doing what she loved, working on a cruise ship providing a variety of esthetic services to travelers.

Maggie worked in prestigious spas around the city where she became a part of the management team. As a Manager, she was actively involved in the training and coaching of her team. The realization of this passion brought Maggie to Anderson College where she continues to share her expertise.

Personal Support Worker Program Instructor
 
Joe has over 18 years of work experience in the Healthcare field.  He has worked as a PSW and as a Nurse in a variety of Long Term Care and Community settings. An accomplished PSW instructor for over 6 years, Joe is a Registered Practicing Nurse and has presented wellness seminars throughout the GTA.A compassionate and dedicated instructor, Joe brings the many years of Practical Experience he has gained working with autistic children, mental health patients, and assisting adults with disabilities.
 

 
Monica C.
Personal Support Worker Program Instructor
 
Monica is a registered nurse with over 30 years of experience as a  Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) and Registered Nurse (RN). Her expertise is in Community Nursing, Medicine and Psychiatry.  Prior to joining Anderson College, Monica taught the PSW program at the Academy of Learning.  In addition to nursing, Monica has years of experience in the Client Services field.   She believes that putting the needs of the patient first and providing a safe space for patients are integral to the duties of a Personal Support Worker.
Monica holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Bachelor of Science  in Nursing (BScN) from York University.  
 

 
Raymond B.
Intra Oral Dental Assistant Program Instructor
 
Dr.Raymond C. Bucoy, is a dentist from the Philippines and for the last 22 years, he had been involved in academic fraternity that moulded him into a better administrator as well as an educator in Canada.He served various institutions and possessed firsthand knowledge and experience of the system and how it impacts the students and the quality of the professionals that it is designed to bring forth. 
 
In 2008, he was chosen to be one of the 98 Clinical Practical Evaluators for the NDAEB, a credentialing body for dental assistants in Canada. The Dental Assisting Educators of Canada appointed him as their representative for non accredited dental assisting programs in Canada to the NDAEB.Presently, he is the Vice President of the NDAEB. The first Filipino and International candidate to hold a position on the Board of Directors and to be elected to an officer position. 

 
Suseela J.
Cardiology Technologist Program Instructor
 
Suseela is a registered Cardiology Technologist and is a member of good standing with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT) and the Ontario Society of Cardiology Technologists (OSCT). Prior to joining the cardiac field, Suseela has completed her Master of Science in Microbiology and has a wealth of professional experience in the medical field.
 
She graduated with Honours from her Cardiology Technologist Diploma and have been worked in cardio clinics and hospital. Her passion in teaching and honing students to become a successful members of the healthcare field.
 

 
Elizabeth H.
Cardiology Technologist Asst. Program Instructor
 
Elizabeth joined Anderson College in September 2016. She finished her Cardiovascular Technician Certificate from Mohawk College in 2008 and has successfully passed the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT) exam in April 2009. Elizabeth has worked in the London Health Sciences Centre in London, Ontario where she gained her breadth of knowledge and experience in the practical applications of various cardiovascular testing.
 

 
Maninder O.
Medical Office Administrator Program Instructor
 
Maninder joins the Anderson College team with over 20 years of experience within the medical field. Maninder has attained an Honours Diploma as a Medical Office Assistant with Health Unit Coordinator Certification. She has worked in various roles within the industry both locally in Canada and abroad. Maninder has pursued a teaching career to share her knowledge and expertise with future Medical Office Assistants. 

Brigitte L.
Early Childcare Assistant Program Instructor
 
Brigitte has 15 years of experience working within childcare and childhood education. Before joining Anderson College, Brigitte worked in various childhood settings including in-home children tutoring, child facility education for varying ages, incorporating the Monessori philosophy  as well as providing supervision to Early Childcare Assistants. 
 
Brigitte’s education in Interior Design has complimented her passion by allowing her to create peaceful and calming child bedroom designs to stimulate development.
 
Brigitte is a Registered Early Childhood Educator (R.E.C.E) who is excited to share her knowledge and experiences with future field workers.

The OSMT is supported by the laboratory technologists and technicians of Ontario who wish to belong to an organization whose exclusive mandate is to serve the medical laboratory profession.  The Society serves as the unified voice and advocate of professional issues in Ontario for Medical Laboratory Technologists (MLTs) and Medical Laboratory Assistants/Technicians (MLA/Ts).  The OSMT offers a diversified collection of programs and benefits to its membership.
